Sustainabilty events at Hull University – July 2019

Week commencing Monday 8th of July, the University of Hull will be hosting a visit from Professor Anastasia Zabaniotou. Professor Zabaniotou is the Biomass and Waste group leader in the Chemical Engineering Department at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is also Chair of Biomass and Biogas at the World Renewable Energy Network and is a renowned leader in her field.

Over the course of the week, the Hull University will be organising the following talks which may be of interest to THYME colleagues:

Tuesday, 9th of July 2019 – 12.00-13.00

Biomass and Waste to Energy in the context of Sustainability and Circular Economy: Latest advancements, innovations and strategic objectives (aimed at academic staff / researchers).

Wednesday, 10th of July 2019 – 11.00-12.00

Awareness of Sustainability: Sustainable use of Bioresources (aimed at PDRA’s and PhD students).
